Complete the full suite and open the production read-pages pull request

Finish the required full-suite check and open B2 for review. The implementation is pushed at c077c2a; all eight feature scenarios passed, reversal failed3/3 on original behavior and restored legacy passed1/1 first attempt, reviews and screenshots are complete. The exact-head remote suite was canceled before executing any of119 tests. Recovery records are on a separate remote artifacts branch.

Required full suite remains unverified: its exact-head run was canceled before any of119 tests executed.

Handoff: Complete the full suite and open the production read-pages pull request

RE-VERIFY: This is a write-time snapshot. Check the source branch with git ls-remote, fetch/rebase on current main, check existing pull requests with gh pr list, and query the linked build run before acting. A fresh result takes precedence over this document.

Design decisions in force

The user's request, 2026-10-19:

Let's update management pages like https://tinysite.wasmserver.com/site/5d589398a4 to include a history of all deploys. Each deploy should show which files changed compared to the previous version, and have a URL where I can visit the site as of that previous version. I should be able to route the site's main/production link to a selected version (eg. rollback) if needed.

This handoff covers B2 only. The following original slice requirements remain in force:

Today these read the drop's raw listing. Once a site has deploys, the drop holds blobs and manifests of every deploy, so they must instead describe the production deploy: the site page lists the production deploy's paths with sizes and types; the home page counts that deploy's files and bytes (say in the page what the size means — e.g. "files in the live version"); the "files by last request" list is over the production deploy's paths, measuring a file not yet requested from the time it entered the production deploy (its deploy's createdAtMillis) rather than a blob upload time; the background check lets go of a file that is no longer in the production deploy and clears a missing address that now resolves in the production deploy. A legacy site behaves exactly as today. Reserved files never appear anywhere (already true; keep it).

Do not add the deploy history section, deploy pages or any rollback control — slice D owns those and is editing the site page at the same time; keep your edits to Pages.kt small and local to the file list so the two pull requests rebase cleanly.

Tests create deploys by writing blobs, manifests and the pointer straight into the in-process storage through the conventions API (not through new endpoints). Cover: two deploys — site page and home page show the production deploy's files only, and change when the pointer moves; unused list over production paths with the deploy-time baseline; a file removed by a deploy leaves the unused list and a missing address that the newer deploy adds is cleared by the background check; legacy unchanged; reserved files never listed.

Bump the conventions pin to 0.0.4.

Stop at the open pull request. Do not merge, enqueue, or deploy anything, and do not publish any artifact unless your brief grants it by name. Do not watch CI after opening the pull request; the supervisor holds that wait.

The required full command is scripts/test.bash --remote --test . from the exact final head. Record pass/fail and first-attempt counts from its own record. A failed test may be called unrelated only after showing it fail on origin/main too. Never change a test timeout, reduce an iteration count, disable a test, weaken an assertion, use reflection or mocks, or make a production method public for testing. No existing test or assertion was changed in this slice.

The pull request description must begin with the original user quote above, say it delivers B2, link known siblings, and end with 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code). Commit messages use Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>.

Mission and remaining work

Complete the required full-suite verification and open the B2 pull request. The implementation, README, eight new scenarios, independent reviews, red/green reversal and screenshots are finished and pushed. There is no B2 pull request because the full remote invocation did not execute any tests before its bounded command ended.

The requested checks once the PR exists are kotlin.build (remote) and the GitHub Actions race gate. The supervisor owns that CI wait; this slice stops after opening the PR.

What was found and done

  1. Home used raw drop counts/bytes, SitePage passed raw listFiles to file/usage tables, and the usage checker used raw stored names. These include old blobs and metadata after deploy adoption. A genuine baseline assertion also showed the existing legacy page included a reserved file: expected 2 files/9 B, actual 3 files/15 B. Thus the brief's statement that reserved filtering was already complete was not true for this read-side entry point.
  2. The first pushed checkpoint contained only eight new tests, after recovering an actual assertion-red result from remote run https://buildtest.kotlin.build/run?id=8b22bff2 through --attach. It failed at testLegacyReadPagesExcludeReservedFiles line74 on the size/count assertion, not compilation. The WUI initially could not find that old run; its full recovered log is in the artifacts branch.
  3. Added internal ProductionFiles.kt: read metadata with conventions deployHistoryFrom, select production(), project public paths/sizes with the manifest creation time, preserve individual upload times for a synthetic legacy deploy, and exclude reserved paths. Problems are visible; no readable production with history errors returns the existing502 error path instead of looking empty. Metadata reads never download blobs.
  4. Home retains per-site count/bytes/problems rather than full per-file lists. The site-page changes replace only its file input and add problem notices. UsagePages uses production paths and the latest of deploy time, publication and tracking start; legacy upload-time wording and behavior remain. SiteUsage checker reads the same projection with its existing active-run and mutation-generation guards, retaining requests newer than a metadata snapshot and preventing new reads after stop.
  5. Pinned conventions0.0.4 and updated the README's public behavior. The published API matched the supplied API; no signature workaround was needed. Conventions publication was initially pending and arrived08:11UTC.
  6. Eight new scenarios passed in a targeted local run:7/8 first attempts,8/8 final. The legacy scenario timed out at its unchanged30000ms limit on attempts1and2 before passing3. The recorded stack was in an HTTP helper after Jetty startup. Its cause is not established and is not claimed unrelated or fixed.
  7. After the private home aggregate-retention correction, final source built and the exact pointer/home scenario plus isolated screenshot scenario passed2/2 first attempts. Four screenshots were captured against real in-process storage, inspected and uploaded. The temporary screenshot test was removed.
  8. Reverted production src to exact origin/main while retaining the0.0.4 pin. The legacy assertion failed3/3 attempts (5698ms,4540ms,2840ms). The restoration trap restored the implementation; a final exact legacy check then passed1/1 first attempt in2965ms. Worktree is clean. The full records preserve all stacks and actual HTML.
  9. Independent test-comprehensiveness and code reviews completed. Gaps were addressed: pointer-specific usage/missing assertions and fallback, later tracking baseline, request generation during a held metadata read, metadata problems retaining content/error views, repeated warning stack output, and home retention. Review documents are in the artifacts branch. No existing test/assertion was edited.
  10. Required full invocation from exact headc077c2a was accepted as https://buildtest.kotlin.build/run?id=f486102e, with119tests. The client showed connection-close effects and did not print its run ID until ending; read-only WUI discovery confirmed repository, branch and commit. The service reportedPENDING and watchman reported queue wait, not execution. Its original1200second command deadline ended the client, which canceled the run. Runner result: INTERRUPTED,0/0 executed,0failed,exit143; shell124. Service confirms CANCELED,0passed0failed119unexecuted, no executor start or attempt journal. No full-suite first-attempt counts exist. This is not a passing suite or a failed test classified as unrelated. It was not requeued.

Next steps

  1. Re-verify current state first. Recover the product branch, read its README/AGENTS if present, and the linked findings/reviews. Read https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/DocumentationRepository/blob/main/architecture/TESTING.md and https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/DocumentationRepository/blob/main/PHILOSOPHY.md in full before changing tests/code.
  2. Fetch and rebase on current origin/main, preserving the small site-file-list change alongside any sibling history UI that has landed. Re-run affected scenarios if rebase changes behavior. No current local source work or stash needs recovery.
  3. Complete the required full command once execution is available: scripts/test.bash --remote --test . --log /tmp/B2-full-record.txt --result-file /tmp/B2-full.json. Use a bounded command matched to the new task's deadline; keep every test's original budget. Capture the runner's own final and first-attempt counts. Use build-watchman0.0.21 with the actual run ID; PENDING by itself does not establish a stalled executor. Do not repeatedly rerun CI or guess at a timeout fix.
  4. If a test fails, diagnose locally and show an unchanged-main baseline before calling it unrelated. The earlier local legacy timeout remains unexplained; a subsequent first-attempt pass and deterministic behavior reversal do not explain it. Do not change existing tests, timeouts or hardware to hide it.
  5. After the full-suite gate is met, fetch/rebase immediately before opening the PR. Ensure the full result matches the exact head being pushed; run again if source changes. Refresh sibling links and replace the explicit full-suite placeholder in the prepared PR body with actual counts. Embed the already-uploaded screenshots, or retake them if UI changes. Do not merge the artifacts branch.
  6. Open the PR from feature/pages-follow-production-deploy to main, with the required opening quote and footer. Stop there, report URL/head/counts/deviations, and leave CI watching/merge/deploy to the supervisor.

Operational details and deviations

The full remote command failed to begin execution before its bounded command ended; no full-suite pass is claimed and there is no PR. Targeted verification used --local after earlier remote allocation and connection failures before tests; the required full attempt still used --remote. The eight new scenarios were run together in one targeted command rather than separately; later exact pointer and legacy checks were separate. The source durability checkpoint was pushed while the full command was pending; it is not a validated-PR claim. The challenge reporter auto-merges, which conflicts with this brief's no-merge rule, so infrastructure friction was preserved in the recovery records rather than auto-merged centrally. No scheduling capability was exposed for automatic status reports; manual reports/findings were maintained.

For old remote run details absent from the WUI, jars/KompileCli.jar --remote --attach <runId> --result-file /tmp/result.json recovered full terminal logs and counts. A quiet CLI does not prove failed submission: the full run existed and was queued. Confirm branch/commit on the service page before associating a run found through the shared listing with this task.

All build/test/browser/watch processes started by B2 have ended. A ps -eo pid, ppid, etimes, args -ww sweep found no remaining owned runner or process with the checkout cwd, apart from the inherited tool host and the short inspection command. The full remote run is canceled; there is no remote executor to clean up. Reviewer agent is completed. Build outputs and caches remain outside git and are intentionally omitted from recovery artifacts.

No status reports yet.
