Finish the TinySite upload panel PR and final integration checks

Integrate the next L2 counter-race checkpoint, run the final exact-head full suite, and open the main-targeted L3 PR. UI/script/README are pushed at 7a744b7 with five browser scenarios plus screenshots passing first attempt; the full suite is incomplete and no PR or production deploy exists.

The lane time limit prevents final integration and full-suite verification; L2 has not published its reviewed counter-race checkpoint. A fresh run must finish those gates before PR creation.

Finish the L3 upload panel PR: integrate the latest L2 upload-counter race correction, verify the final exact head with the full local suite, and create the main-targeted PR using the prepared description and screenshots.

L3 UI/script/README implementation and all five permanent browser scenarios are complete and verified; no PR has been created because the full-suite/dependency gate is still open. Source is on https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/tree/feature/upload-job-page at https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/commit/7a744b769696a78fbbf342cfce6c5666915de349 (verify live before resuming). Main at final UI test was5ed50d5, history change already rebased and conflict resolved. Deployed/published code: none; no production deployment was requested or performed. L1 published tinysite-conventions0.0.7 separately; L2 follow-up may bump it.

The L3 browser test found GET /uploads waiting behind the exact held chunk whose live bytes it needed. L3 removes that GET from the site write queue; L2 independently reproduced and is carrying the same correction with additional counter snapshot/run-token/pending-callback fixes. L2 remote was stilldebfef5 at22:38. Merge its next usable checkpoint into L3 (user explicitly authorizes this stack), resolve direct-read overlap in favor of the reviewed final behavior, then run final suite. A shared queue read is insufficient: a queued exclusive commit/end can still trap it behind a held chunk. L2 agreed to direct reads at22:36.

All five permanent browser tests passed first attempt against real local Filedrop+Chromium: CLI progress/poll cadence/hidden tab/local times; second browser sees accepted chunks/speeds/ETA/deploy link/redeploy missing flags; failed publish/Retry distinct jobs/full message; zero-transfer finite values; deployed success with refused job-end warning (no false failed end). The temporary screenshot scenario also passed and was deleted. No origin/main baseline test was changed by L3. Independent test, full UI code, status-read, and warning-path review passes done; accepted findings addressed. New finalizer nesting is the only test-only change after the last prepared targeted run and needs final suite verification.

Screenshots are durable and already referenced in the prepared PR description:

  • https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/PrScreenshots/blob/main/TinySiteWui/feature-upload-job-page/failed.png?raw=true

No PR merge/enqueue/deploy/CI watch authorized. Full suite must run locally or via the repo's scripts; the initial remote run returned health=OK then blocked in readBuildRun without a result, so local fallback is established. At most two local invocations total and one full suite machine-wide. Multiple lanes launching after independent ps probes repeatedly exceeded this limit; this lane paused itself each time. Reserve capacity atomically before resuming. Do not increase test timeouts or reduce iterations.

Read repo README/AGENTS and Testing/GOOD_DESIGN/PHILOSOPHY docs before edits. Quote the owner's request exactly at the PR opening, link sibling PRs by full URL, explain carried L2 commits/rebase after L2 lands, add full-suite first-attempt counts from runner XML, embed three screenshots, use Claude footer/coauthor required in the original lane brief. Stop at the open PR, do not watch CI.

Terminal report:

BLOCKED โ€” L3 browser work is verified; final integration, full-suite verification and PR creation remain.

Source is fully pushed and the tree is clean: https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/tree/feature/upload-job-page https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/commit/7a744b769696a78fbbf342cfce6c5666915de349

All five permanent browser scenarios and the screenshot session passed on their first attempt (6/6, no retries). The script declares all files before bytes, carries jobId through upload/deploy, records the exact displayed failure, and creates a new job on Retry. The panel shows jobs from other browsers and CLI storage writes, counts/decimal MB/rates/ETA/times/states, explicit reload and the required polling/hidden/no-jobs behavior. Invalid numeric/text frames are checked. README and all three screenshots are complete. Independent reviews are complete; accepted findings were addressed.

The last exact-head full suite was stopped during preparation (inner exit -15), with no result XML or pass/fail count. It cannot be called green. Known additional L2 counter races are being fixed and need their next checkpoint integrated before final validation. L2 remote is still debfef5 at22:50 and neither lane has a PR yet. The original90-minute lane budget is ending; no build/browser process owned by L3 remains. No merge, enqueue, CI watch or deployment occurred.

Remaining steps: fetch and merge the next reviewed L2 checkpoint, retain direct non-queued status reads with its snapshot/lifecycle fixes, run the complete suite on the exact final head, use runner first-attempt counts in the prepared PR description, add L2's PR link when it exists, and open one PR to main. Reserve local capacity first: at most two local runs and one full suite machine-wide. Do not increase timeouts, reduce iterations, or weaken any existing test.

Prepared PR description:

The owner asked:

Consider like https://tinysite.wasmserver.com/site/0123aad3ae when a new version of the site is being uploaded (a new upload job), the job when started should get information about the number of files being added/uploaded and the sizes of those files. The page can then display the in-progress upload job, including stats like progress, ETA, current upload speed in files/minute and megabytes/minute, etc.

This is L3 of that effort: browser publishes start a job before sending bytes, and the site page shows uploads from every browser and the CLI. Related work: shared records and calculations, CLI uploads. L2 server branch (its PR link will be added when opened).

The panel shows byte progress, file counts, decimal MB, current rates, ETA, storage-clock start times in local time and UTC, and each outcome. It pauses when hidden, polls active jobs every two seconds, and checks for new jobs every thirty seconds after they finish. A deployed job links to its deploy page and offers a file-list reload. Empty panels stay hidden; failure messages render as text.

This branch currently carries the L2 server commits from feature/upload-job-server so its browser tests can run end to end. Once L2 lands, rebase this branch onto main to leave the page/script changes.

Validation: all five new browser scenarios and the screenshot session pass on their first attempt (6/6, no retries). Final exact-head full-suite results are pending. No existing tests were weakened. The implementation-removal check failed at the missing panel assertion as expected. Browser coverage includes a second page observing chunks, direct-to-storage CLI progress, failed publish and a fresh Retry job, zero-transfer jobs, empty panels, hidden tabs and request counts after completion. A successful deploy whose job-end write is refused keeps the full warning visible and never posts a false failed outcome.

Detailed evidence/progress:

L3 โ€” browser upload jobs and site panel

Started: 2026-10-20 21:23:42 UTC (process start verified). Deadline: 22:53:42 UTC; no usable L2 endpoints by 22:23:42 UTC means stop and push. Checkout: /code/workspace/lanes/L3-wui-page. Branch: feature/upload-job-page.

Plan

  • [done] Read guidance, inspect browser and page seams, write failing browser scenarios; run and push the red milestone.
  • [done] Add browser job start/link/end flow and independently polled Uploads panel; update README (draft pushed).
  • [in progress] Integrate L2 branch when available; run targeted red/green and implementation-revert check. L2 currently only test commits; reverse check running.
  • [in progress] Independent test and code reviews completed; expanded checks added. Capture mid-upload/deployed/failed screenshots after L2 integration (temporary harness prepared).
  • [pending] Rebase latest main, run full suite from final head, push and open one PR to main; do not watch CI, merge, enqueue, or deploy.

Required reading

Read README.md and linked architecture/TESTING.md, architecture/GOOD_DESIGN.md and PHILOSOPHY.md from DocumentationRepository (copies under /tmp/l3-docs). Existing browser tests use real FiledropEmbedded plus narrow storage fault controls and real Chromium.

Invariants before implementation

Resource Creator / owner / close Terminal states and observations Public test
Browser job publish attempt after hashes + missing check / that attempt / deployed POST or failed end all selected paths recorded before first bytes; retries get new ids; same failure message in panel and form first-publish refusal/retry and redeploy two-browser test
Chunk workers publish attempt / attempt / all workers settle before job ends no late bytes counted against an already failed job; immutable attempt job id passed on begins and deploy held chunk and failed publish tests
Panel request/timer site page / page / clear timer + abort request on hidden or pagehide one request at a time; visible resumes; 2s active, 30s discovery; failure displayed in panel request counts, hidden-tab and page close test
Job DOM status endpoint / panel / replaced on successful read text-only failure messages; finite nonnegative metrics; no existing panel moves hostile failure text + geometry + numeric assertions
Storage records L2 and CLI / drop / write once other clients visible; .tinysite excluded from file list storage-written CLI job and list exclusion

Observations

  • OBSERVED: started checkout was on main; created requested branch from fetched origin/main.
  • OBSERVED: no L2 PR exists at initial lookup. Existing open unrelated work: https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/pull/19 and https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/pull/18.
  • OBSERVED: UploadScript.kt shares first publish/redeploy logic and hashes before sending missing blobs.
  • INFERRED: placing the panel after current panels avoids moving their positions when uploads appear.

21:29 UTC โ€” test milestone in progress

  • OBSERVED: three self-contained browser tests added, implementation unchanged. testBrowserDiscoversCliUploadsAndStopsFastPolling uses real storage-written records, covers no jobs, 30s discovery, live file progress, timezone display, stalled/cancelled, request count after end, no invalid numeric text, no existing panel movement, reserved files excluded.
  • OBSERVED: testBrowserSeesAnotherPagesUploadProgressAndDeploy holds real storage chunks with a semaphore, observes progress in another page, checks all selected files persisted before bytes, duplicate transfer counts, job ids on begin/deploy, deployed/reload links and a subsequent changed-file redeploy.
  • OBSERVED: testBrowserRecordsFailedPublishAndRetryAsSeparateJobs checks exact failure text, plain-text rendering and distinct failed/deployed jobs across Retry.
  • OBSERVED: initial remote red run connected to buildtest but has not yet named a run or returned a test result. Its process is tracked as session 66684, hard stop 21:40 UTC if no result. Other lanes' remote runs are also still waiting.
  • OBSERVED: L2 findings names an ambiguity between exact qualifying jobs and at-most-five record reads. This lane consumes the fixed JSON contract and continues browser work while L2 asks the owner to settle server selection.
  • INFERRED: no UI design choice depends on the candidate-selection resolution.
  • Existing tests edited: none.
  • OBSERVED 21:31 UTC: remote run remains before run id. Started a bounded local fallback after observing one other local client. Another lane subsequently started a third; paused my local client (PID 4892) to keep at most two executing locally. Local dependency pin messages are warnings; test result has not arrived, so no baseline claim yet.
  • OBSERVED 21:32 UTC: the other two local clients completed; resumed my original local test process tree, without re-running the test.

21:37 UTC โ€” red milestone

OBSERVED: scripts/test.bash --local --test testBrowserDiscoversCliUploadsAndStopsFastPolling --log /tmp/l3-red-local.xml completed 0/1 passing, attempt-history attempt 1 failed in 63,441 ms. Source unchanged. Browser reached real site page but never requested GET /api/sites/{siteId}/uploads; page.waitForCondition(reads == 1) timed out at 30,000 ms. This is the intended missing-feature failure. Runner output: /tmp/l3-red-local.log.

TESTS FAILED (0/1 tests completed successfully, 1 failed)

Independent test review by gpt-6-luna (read-only, no tests run) accepted: pin CLI clock to fixed date; pause browser clock; assert MB totals, all selected tuples and missing/start/begin order; add hidden-tab and mutation checks. Refuted: claimed record-write ordering bug (write already precedes clock advance), and claimed undocumented u-prefixed filenames (explicitly specified in brief). Full HTTP status shape is L2 coverage; UI tests assert every field they render. Existing tests edited: none. Plan: failing browser milestone DONE; script/panel implementation IN PROGRESS.

21:41 UTC โ€” implementation checkpoint in progress

OBSERVED: panel code drafted in new UploadsPanel.kt, appended below existing panels; progress/rates/ETA/source/state/start times; keyed rows preserve focus; one request at a time; 2-second active/30-second discovery; abort on hidden/pagehide; full status-read error shown instead of stale current values. Decimal MB follows L1's published API plan. Shared moment helper listens for uploads-loaded. Browser script implemented by a scoped luna worker and reviewed by parent. Parent caught and corrected an extra success /end request: deployed outcome belongs to deploy POST, and /end accepts only failed/cancelled. Node syntax and whitespace checks pass. README draft describes panel and browser job calls.

OBSERVED: read-only test review completed; new tests strengthened with fixed ManualClock + paused browser clock, all selected tuples and missing/job/begin ordering, exact MB/percentage checks, hidden-tab request counting, every DOM mutation checked for invalid values. No tests from origin/main edited. A headless-browser experiment confirmed focusing another page does not change document.visibilityState; the visibility test drives the browser's public visibility event/getter, with a comment explaining why.

OBSERVED: initial remote test client terminated at its recorded deadline after ~16 minutes without a run id or result (the log stopped at health=OK). Thread dump /tmp/l3-remote-threads.txt shows main waiting in Libp2pRpcStream.sendRequest -> UrlProtocolBuildService.rpc -> RemoteBuildWorkspace.readBuildRun. Local fallback produced the actual first-attempt red evidence. Report-challenge skill read: its CLI auto-merges/enqueues, prohibited by this lane's explicit instruction, so no challenge CLI mutation made; evidence retained here. Do not classify this aborted remote call as a test pass/fail.

  • OBSERVED 21:43 UTC: pushed draft implementation checkpoint https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/commit/12cdf71 (syntax/whitespace checked; integration tests await L2 endpoints). Full-suite gate will run once on final integrated head before final push/PR, not claimed green for this WIP checkpoint. Integrated L2 first test-only milestone 6bb4596 as instructed; usable endpoints are not on its remote branch yet.
  • OBSERVED 21:46 UTC: the second local run (panel compile + browser test) started with exactly one other local client. Two additional lanes then started local work; paused this lane's process tree (root PID 17047) to obey the shared two-run cap. Only L4 and R1-tests are executing locally now. Resume same tracked run when one exits; no rerun is being used as debugging. Its hard deadline remains 21:52 UTC.
  • OBSERVED: central documentation sweep via GitHub code search: DocumentationRepository and HostedServiceDocumentation have no TinySite matches; PlanRepository matches historical challenges/handoffs and Webshot/UrlResolver workstreams. None describes this new UI behavior or requires an operational/architecture edit; README is the correct home for the requested browser behavior, and one PR in this checkout is the explicit lane scope.
  • OBSERVED 21:46 UTC: R1-tests local client completed; resumed this lane's same tracked test run with L4 as the only other executing local client.
  • Independent adversarial review found no timer/fetch ownership defect. Accepted: forthcoming L2 jobEndError warning on HTTP 200 must be displayed without reporting deploy failure; will add public browser coverage as soon as server branch carries this behavior. README table will consume L2's endpoint rows. Refuted: suggested accepting opaque job ids; brief explicitly fixes u[0-9]{13}-[0-9a-f]{6} and L1 validates that shape, so existing validation is correct.

21:48 UTC โ€” integration dependency

OBSERVED: L1 artifact 0.0.7 now served (POM 1879 bytes), sibling PR https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteConventions/pull/5. L2 has compiled endpoints and local original targeted tests, with a new concurrent fixture correction underway, but origin/feature/upload-job-server remains test-only at 6bb4596. This lane cannot copy another checkout under the explicit checkout rule; requires L2 to PUSH IMPLEMENTATION CHECKPOINT now so browser tests and screenshot work can race its remaining server review/full suite. Draft UI and screenshot harness are ready. This is a concrete code dependency, not a hold for L2 to land or finish CI.

21:51 UTC โ€” post-UI compile / expected integration failure

OBSERVED: scripts/test.bash --local --test testBrowserDiscoversCliUploadsAndStopsFastPolling --log /tmp/l3-panel-target.xml compiled the new source successfully. First attempt failed in 9,758 ms at assertFalse(panel.isVisible(), "no panel when no jobs exist"): the request now exists, but L2 endpoints are absent so the panel correctly displays its read-error notice. This is an expected integration failure, not a green result. Runner automatically executed three attempts; all failed (9758/7046/9401 ms). Initial red also had three automatic attempts (63441/36147/34871 ms); first-attempt counts remain 0 passed/1 failed. No manual test reruns were used to seek a pass. Full traces: /tmp/l3-panel-target.log and XML.

OBSERVED: added a zero-transfer browser scenario (100%, zero rates, no invalid values), and authored a successful-deploy/end-write-refusal browser scenario before implementing the extra L2-warning handling. Warning scenario awaits L2 code to run red through the actual HTTP boundary. Refined status spans to use the page's keyboard/hover tooltip style and announce state changes; added keyboard stall-explanation assertions. New tests are still WIP; no existing origin/main test changed.

  • OBSERVED 21:54 UTC: own new geometry assertion corrected from viewport y to document y (getBoundingClientRect().top + scrollY) because focusing the stalled tooltip deliberately scrolls to the panel. This preserves the no-layout-shift assertion while excluding user scrolling from its measurement. CLI/polling scenario now runs at 375x812 with a width-fit assertion and reduced motion enabled. No existing baseline test changed or weakened.

21:59 UTC โ€” required implementation-removal check in progress

Saved exact implementation bytes for Pages.kt, HtmlLayout.kt, UploadScript.kt and UploadsPanel.kt under /tmp/l3-revert-backup. Temporarily restored those sources to origin/main (new panel file absent), rebased latest main, launched bounded local CLI/browser test with /tmp/l3-revert.xml and log. /tmp/l3-revert-check.py restores every source in finally, even if the 420-second run is terminated. This verifies the first public panel-presence assertion independently of the still-missing server endpoints; original branch implementation will then be tested with L2 integrated. Tracked session 29512; do not edit those four sources while it is running.

  • OBSERVED 21:59 UTC: other two lanes started local work after the prior slot probe; paused this lane's reversal test tree (root26722) immediately on observing the shared cap. Reversal controller remains live with its original deadline and restoration guarantee. Need coordinated slot reservation, since per-lane probes alone race; no other lane's process was interrupted.
  • OBSERVED 22:01 UTC: prior L2/L4 local clients exited; resumed the same reversal run (26722/26998) within its existing deadline. L2 has rebased main19 and is running its expanded14 endpoint scenarios, but still has not pushed endpoint implementation. No L2 landing or CI wait is imposed; only the actual branch code is needed here.

22:06 UTC โ€” implementation-removal proof completed

OBSERVED: runner exit1, first attempt 0 passed/1 failed in8859ms; automatic attempts2/3 also failed6075/7911ms. Test fails at the public browser DOM assertion, not at a server request. All four saved source files restored byte-for-byte, confirmed git status only has own test-strengthening edits. This meets the requested removal/red check independently of L2. Log /tmp/l3-revert.log, XML /tmp/l3-revert.xml.

OBSERVED: final test hardening now checks exact deployed link against the end record and HTTP200 from its target, correct jobId on the subsequent redeploy begin and deploy, exact relative storage-clock time, and zero WUI upload requests in the CLI scenario. These are added assertions; no existing origin/main tests were edited.

22:12 UTC โ€” L2 checkpoint integrated

OBSERVED: origin/feature/upload-job-server now debfef5, reviewed14/14 first-attempt server tests. Merged it into this lane; add/add conflicts in the two original L2 tests resolved with L2's strengthened versions. README and production files otherwise merged cleanly. Five browser scenarios are now running against real integrated endpoints (/tmp/l3-integrated-red.xml, tracked18882, 900-second command bound). New own browser tests now pin conventions0.0.7 explicitly; baseline tests untouched. README table also lists the new calls/options, alongside L2's detailed API section.

INFERRED possible blocking mechanism to verify in this run: GET /uploads in DeployApi.kt:213 uses an exclusive coordinateSiteWrite barrier; real relay chunks in ApiServlets.kt:496 hold shared admission while inside storage. The cross-browser test deliberately holds chunk1 in the real storage seam until the observer sees progress. An exclusive status read cannot run until that held chunk releases, while the test releases it only after observing status. If confirmed by the current browser test, status reads must be independent of in-flight writes; do not weaken the held-chunk fixture or add timeouts. Existing completed job/end/blob records are immutable, so a listing snapshot plus synchronized live-counter snapshot is the candidate read path. No fix written on this inference yet.

22:18 UTC โ€” integrated browser execution

OBSERVED: the five-test local command is still preparing/compiling tests; no verdict yet, no retries requested. L2 is independently running its full suite, so this lane cannot start another full suite yet. About35minutes remain before the original22:53 hard stop. Screenshot harness is ready but not launched while both local slots are occupied. INFERRED, needs the live browser result: GET /uploads currently enters the exclusive site write queue, while a relayed chunk holds shared admission. The required observer may therefore wait behind the exact chunk whose in-flight bytes it needs to show. The cross-page browser test holds a real Filedrop chunk until it observes progress and will distinguish this. No speculative server edit has been made.

22:22 UTC โ€” first integrated failures diagnosed

OBSERVED: cross-browser first attempt reached the running panel, then timed out at progress-advances line176; the storage gate timed out too. The status GET sits behind the next held shared chunk in coordinateSiteWrite, so real in-flight progress cannot be observed. Mechanism to fix: status reads queue behind the writes they describe. Reproducer: two actual Chromium pages, real Filedrop with a held next chunk, observer waits for accepted bytes to advance. OBSERVED: two CLI fixtures were invalid: startedAtMillis=1 while the job-id timestamp was current. L1's parser requires those two informational author timestamps to match. Changed job IDs to u0000000000001-... while retaining storage-clock current metadata, preserving the stronger storage-clock assertion. No production change needed for those failures. OBSERVED: warning test's response listener called response.text after first-publish navigation discarded Chromium's response body (Network.getResponseBody: No resource with given identifier found). Replaced it with a browser fetch wrapper that saves the real cloned deploy response before passing the same real response to the app. No HTTP answer or failure is faked; assertions unchanged. Need clean red from this corrected warning fixture before warning implementation.

Status-read invariant review before edit: storage owns immutable write-once job/end records; a status request owns its one listing and bounded record reads; UploadJobs owns synchronized counter snapshots, with no storage call inside its monitor. A read may see a job just before an end appears and refresh two seconds later. It must remain independent of in-flight chunk admission. Closing/restarting still invalidates counter run tokens; this read creates no owned resource and no callback. Removed only GET /uploads from the write queue. L2 SHOULD CARRY this small fix into its branch; no mutation ordering changed. The existing cross-browser scenario is the hostile public-API read-during-write test. OBSERVED: runner retries can spend the whole180-second watchdog at cross-browser line176 because waitForCondition calls locator.getAttribute, which itself waits30seconds after a failed job removes the row. Changed the predicate to page.waitForFunction reading the DOM directly; the same >firstProgress assertion now has one ordinary browser wait deadline and cannot nest locator waits. No timeout changed.

22:23 UTC โ€” status report / plan

OBSERVED: integrated runner completed1/5 successfully,4failed; failed-publish/Retry passes. Three failures are the fixture issues described above; cross-browser is the live-read queue defect. Full XML /tmp/l3-integrated-red.xml records all per-test attempts and full traces. Corrected fixtures + non-queued status read are now running in a bounded720-second local command, together with the temporary screenshot session; no warning implementation yet, so that scenario must still go red for the intended assertion. DONE: panel, job script, README, independent test/code reviews, initial red and source-removal red proof; L2 code integrated. IN PROGRESS: real endpoint browser verification, status-read fix confirmation, warning-path red/fix, three screenshots. PENDING: exact-head full suite (L2 currently owns sole full-suite slot), final push and main-targeted PR. Original hard stop22:53:42 remains in force,30minutes left. If suite capacity does not free in time, report partial verification explicitly rather than claiming green. OBSERVED22:24: L4 started --local-and-remote after this lane had reserved the second local slot behind L2 full suite. Paused this lane's own Java tree again to respect the maximum two local runs. This is the fourth slot collision in this lane; no other lane was interrupted. The720-second command deadline remains active and must not be extended. Manager needs to reserve local capacity for the L3 browser/PR work; uncoordinated new launches consume the remaining hard-limit budget. No result yet from corrected fixtures. OBSERVED22:25: L4 local-and-remote client has exited; resumed same corrected browser/screenshot run, with L2 as sole other local invocation. Aboutone minute spent paused. Durable checkpoint https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/commit/bd74509 includes status-read fix and corrected fixtures; green not yet claimed. Independent focused read/concurrency review requested for this new server change. OBSERVED22:26: independent status-read review found no concrete correctness/regression issue: counter maps/snapshots and lifecycle tokens synchronized; accepted bytes counted only after storage return; concurrent immutable-record listing/snapshot can briefly lag and converge on next poll. Existing real-held-chunk second-page scenario covers the relevant overlap. Exact GET count under a second held chunk was suggested as optional; the separate CLI polling scenario already covers request cadence and stopped fast polling. Review note /tmp/l3-status-read-review.md.

22:28 UTC โ€” LOCAL CAPACITY BLOCKED AGAIN

OBSERVED: L2 stopped its obsolete full suite after receiving the live-read finding, then L2 launched a red local test; L4 launched another local-and-remote test; L1 launched local-and-remote too. Four local invocations including L3. Paused L3's same corrected browser/screenshot process tree again. Its original22:35 command deadline still stands. There remain THREE other local clients even after pausing L3, which this lane cannot control. There is no way to finish the browser green proof, screenshots or full suite without an actual reserved slot. Need orchestration to stop overlapping launches; L3 has25minutes before22:53 hard stop and will not extend it silently. Status-read fix is safely pushed atbd74509. OBSERVED22:29: L1/L4 competing local clients now exited; only L2's focused red run remains. Resumed same L3 test process (no rerun). Aboutanother40seconds paused. PLEASE RESERVE L3's existing second slot through browser proof and screenshots; its command root47640 remains active until22:35.

First-attempt records from integrated red XML (authoritative, automatic later attempts do not alter these):

  • testBrowserReportsAnUnsavedJobEndAfterSuccessfulDeploy: success=false, time=22608ms.
  • testBrowserShowsUploadsWithNothingToTransfer: success=false, time=48592ms.
  • testBrowserDiscoversCliUploadsAndStopsFastPolling: success=false, time=50215ms.
  • testBrowserSeesAnotherPagesUploadProgressAndDeploy: success=false, time=76224ms. OBSERVED22:29: new-test cleanup review found the five added scenarios closed server/client but omitted explicit manager.close. Added server.destroy and manager.close inside finally to all five, including screenshot harness. Existing baseline tests untouched; assertions/timeouts unchanged. Current already-prepared run uses prior cleanup; final exact-head suite will verify the stronger cleanup.

22:30 UTC โ€” corrected browser proof and intended warning red

OBSERVED: /tmp/l3-integrated-next.xml first attempts: zero-transfer PASS9162ms; CLI/polling/local-times PASS11536ms; failed/Retry PASS13349ms; screenshot session PASS14552ms; cross-browser live progress/deployed link/redeploy PASS17058ms. The remaining warning case FAIL10244ms at the intended assertion first publish keeps its warning visible before offering the site page; all three automatic attempts fail there. This proves the deploy response's jobEndError was discarded by immediate navigation. Implemented the warning behavior only after that red proof: successful deploy remains successful; keep full jobEndError visible; first publish offers an explicit site-page link and Published disabled button, redeploy preserves its result and normal next-deploy action. No /end failed request for a successful deploy. README describes this public behavior. OBSERVED: main advanced to5ed50d5 (history row change). Rebased immediately; only HtmlLayout listener conflict, retained new main history behavior plus uploads-loaded time refresh. Original screenshots inspected: running, deployed, failed all show expected panel and no overflow, but will recapture after rebase to show current history layout. NEXT: final five browser scenarios + screenshot recapture, then exact-head full suite within22:51:30 bound. PLEASE RESERVE THE SOLE FULL-SUITE SLOT FOR L3 ONCE THIS TARGETED RUN ENDS (~22:36); L3 hard stop22:53:42 is earlier than resumed L2's23:04. L2 has already adopted independent live-read fix; its remaining full suite can follow. No CI watching/merge/deploy.

22:32 OBSERVED: L1 and L4 have launched new --local-and-remote invocations (roots59086/58857) while L3 final targeted verification was active. Three local invocations again. Paused L3 final-test descendants (root59264) to obey cap. This blocks the single remaining warning green proof and screenshot recapture. Local capacity needs an explicit L3 reservation NOW; hard stop21minutes away. Initial screenshots are already uploaded durably in PrScreenshots; rebase is complete on5ed50d5. Final commit e03ba07 exists locally but needs final checks/push. The final validation controller has an absolute22:51:30 deadline and will not extend it. OBSERVED22:33: independent warning-path review found no functional defect. It confirmed actual HTTP full-text assertions, production success and no false failed-end/Retry. Accepted its cleanup finding: changed cleanup nesting so server.destroy, client.close, manager.close and temp deletion each execute even if an earlier close throws. No exception is swallowed; assertions unchanged. Final commit amended (not yet pushed). Review note /tmp/l3-warning-review.md. 22:33 OBSERVED: L4 client58857 exited; only L1 client59086 remains. Resumed same final browser validation process (no retry). About50seconds paused.

22:34 UTC โ€” L2 revised review needs integration before final suite

OBSERVED: L2 found an adjacent status-snapshot race and is writing deterministic public HTTP regressions; its counter snapshot must precede listing so commit's write-before-forget cannot make both representations absent. No new L2 commit is remote yet (stilldebfef5). INFERRED issue with L2's proposed shared-only read admission: a held shared chunk followed by any queued exclusive operation (another file's commit, job end, deploy) followed by a shared status GET still blocks the GET behind that exclusive barrier. Shared admission fixes only the no-exclusive-queued ordering. This lane's direct read avoids that ordering, and immutable job/end records do not need a write fence. L2 needs a held-chunk + queued-exclusive + status regression before choosing shared-only admission. PLEASE PUSH the reviewed next L2 checkpoint/tests immediately when usable; L3 must integrate it before final suite, rather than waiting for L2's full suite/PR. OBSERVED: paused only validation controller59229, leaving targeted child running, so it cannot automatically start the final full suite before the revised L2 checkpoint can be integrated. Controller absolute deadline remains22:51:30. Will resume after resolving that integration; all owned paused processes must be resumed/stopped before final.

22:37 UTC โ€” final UI/browser proof GREEN

OBSERVED: /tmp/l3-final-targeted.xml has6/6 first-attempt PASS, no retry histories, against7a744b7 rebased on5ed50d5 (target prepared just before stronger finalizer nesting amendment; same production code).

  • testBrowserShowsUploadsWithNothingToTransfer: PASS 12591ms.
  • testBrowserDiscoversCliUploadsAndStopsFastPolling: PASS 15275ms.
  • testBrowserRecordsFailedPublishAndRetryAsSeparateJobs: PASS 17285ms.
  • testScreenshotUploadJobs: PASS 20202ms.
  • testBrowserReportsAnUnsavedJobEndAfterSuccessfulDeploy: PASS 16477ms.
  • testBrowserSeesAnotherPagesUploadProgressAndDeploy: PASS 19413ms. Three screenshots recaptured on current main history layout, visually inspected and uploaded at https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/PrScreenshots/tree/main/TinySiteWui/feature-upload-job-page. Temporary screenshot test deleted. Final full suite still awaits L2 reviewed counter/race checkpoint (remote stilldebfef5). L2 now agreed GET must bypass write admission. All L3 browser/page/script requirements have concrete green browser proof; dependency integration/full suite/PR remain. 22:38 OBSERVED: final UI checkpoint pushed, https://github.com/CodexCoder21Organization/TinySiteWui/commit/7a744b7. Current L2 remote remainsdebfef5; there is no newer commit to merge yet. Resumed validation controller to run the full suite from this currently available exact head, within the original22:51:30 bound. If L2 publishes the revised checkpoint during this run, it must be integrated and validation revisited; no final dependency green is claimed prematurely. This is the ONLY full suite currently running; reserve its slot. Browser/screenshot proof remains6/6 first attempt. 22:40 OBSERVED: L4 local-and-remote63030 is actively compiling LocalBuildWorkspace tests (thread dump confirms local phase, not just waiting remotely); L2 started another local race test64310 while L3 full suite63660 was active. Paused L3 full-suite descendants to respect cap. Root L3 full command63650 remains tracked with absolute22:51:30 deadline. This repeat collision may prevent the full-suite gate within the90-minute lane limit. Source/screenshots/6first-attempt green browser proofs safely pushed; no PR created without full-suite result. 22:41 OBSERVED: L4 local run completed13/13, client63030 exited. Resumed same L3 full suite with L2's race reproducer as only other local invocation. About80seconds paused this time; no timeout extended, no rerun for luck. Full suite still has no terminal record, absolute deadline22:51:30.

22:43 UTC โ€” scheduled status report

OBSERVED/DONE: UploadScript declares all selected files before bytes, passes jobId to begin/deploy, records exact visible failures, and Retry creates a distinct job; both publish/redeploy browser proof. Uploads panel covers external browser/CLI progress, MB/rates/ETA/local+UTC/storage-relative start, running/stalled/deployed/failed/cancelled, explicit reload, hidden/no-job and polling cadence; browser proof includes absence of invalid numbers/text and mutation frames. README and three screenshots complete. Five permanent scenarios+temporary screenshot6/6 first attempt, no automatic retries; independent reviews complete. Remote checkpoint7a744b7 clean. OBSERVED/IN PROGRESS: only full suite at exact7a744b7, local log /tmp/l3-full-final.log, XML pending. Started22:37:25; paused80s for shared cap; resumed22:41. Current compilation remains active; not a test failure or stall. Absolute terminal bound22:51:30. L2 revised server races still not pushed (remote remainsdebfef5); no new commit exists to merge yet. L2 agreed direct GET/snapshot-before-listing/run guards and bounded pending callbacks, validating them now. PENDING: integrate any newly-pushed L2 checkpoint; final exact-head full-suite count; one main-targeted PR with L2 PR link if available. Original90-minute stop22:53:42 leaves10minutes. No CI watch/merge/enqueue/deploy. Continuation body and PR description already prepared so any incomplete gate can be reported without losing source/evidence.

22:48 UTC โ€” obsolete full suite stopped; free slot for L2

OBSERVED: full suite at7a744b7 stopped via owned process group63650; it was still preparing tests, with no result XML or first-attempt full-suite count. No full-suite PASS/FAIL is claimed. Continuing a full suite against known-old L2 counter behavior cannot verify the final integrated code and blocks L2's deterministic new-race verification. Slot is now FREE FOR L2; no additional L3 build will be started unless a usable L2 checkpoint arrives within the remaining hard limit. Own five browser tests+screenshots remain6/6 first attempt, source7a744b7 remotely safe, clean tree. PR not created because the final full-suite gate is unsatisfied. Original90-minute stop22:53:42 still applies. Creating durable central handoff for exact continuation and will integrate L2 if published before then.

OBSERVED: central continuation created at url://handoff/handoffs/hf-2026-10-20-finish-the-tinysite-upload-panel-pr-and-final-integration-checks. It includes branch/commit URLs, all green/red proof summaries, screenshots, prepared PR description, and exact remaining integration/full-suite/PR work. Full-suite controller records inner exit -15 (cancelled), not PASS; outer controller exit0 does not represent test success. No owned build/browser process remains.

Final brief audit (22:50 UTC)

  • Item1 browser job calls: DONE, two-browser/redeploy and failed/Retry tests, plus exact warning-path test.
  • Item2 Uploads panel: DONE, external browser/CLI/no-job/zero-transfer/state/time/rate/ETA/poll/hidden/no-invalid-values browser proofs.
  • Item3 README: DONE and reviewed; API table and browser/public behavior described.
  • Required red-first/source-removal proof: DONE with first-attempt failures recorded and permanent tests remotely preserved.
  • Three screenshot states: DONE, recaptured after main rebase, inspected and durably uploaded.
  • Independent reviews: DONE; test/code/status-read/warning findings addressed.
  • Merge current available L2 branch: DONE (debfef5); newer reviewed counter correction not yet published, so cannot integrate it.
  • Exact final full suite: INCOMPLETE, cancelled -15 before results; no pass/fail count claimed.
  • One main-targeted PR: INCOMPLETE, not created without the full-suite gate.
  • Production/merging/CI watching: none performed, as instructed. The lane stops within its90-minute bound with all source pushed and a durable handoff. The two remaining gates are stated explicitly, not marked complete or silently deferred.
