During build-watchman ground-truth verification for buildtest run 504db38c, the HardwareControlFabric skill could not be used. Its primary documented certificate paths fabric-client-cert.pem, fabric-client-key.pem, and fabric-server-cert.pem do not exist; the installed files are client_cert.pem, fabric_key.pkcs8, and server_cert.pem. Retrying HardwareControlFabricCli 0.2.6 with those installed certificates failed twice with java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused to 198.199.106.165 port 8443. Impact: the preferred production-host process and file management layer was unavailable, forcing the explicitly permitted last-resort read-only SSH path to inspect buildtest event and log freshness. Durable fixes: update the skill defaults to the installed certificate filenames and add monitored auto-restart for the HardwareControlFabric daemon so port 8443 does not remain down.
