Mission summary

This item retains useful grace-listener contract tests. What was found and done
- The original snapshot is stale. The saved source checkpoint 5a148e4107bdac98150d20111dea760b11bcbe81 is an ancestor of current PR head d171ae1b68dd0502ce77a2f62db991bb9c5d9727; the PR branch and explanation were updated by later work. Current main is still 4fe061512ba91888439a2cf10608631bb99b6121, and lacks this correction.
- The prior measurement attributes the 400-cycle stress cost to serial libp2p stream setup and RPC framing work, rather than the grace callback. Its evidence remains on the linked cost-evidence branch. The final fixture uses the supported in-memory transport with real RPC/server handlers/readers and asynchronous close notifications. It retains 400 departing streams, grace reaps, injected failures, same-pad retries, exact 1,201 callback history, 400 full warning messages, and the 30,000ms deadline. The two focused tests retain libp2p coverage. The removed prefetch experiment must not be restored.
- The old exact-source remote gate 34f8f177 has now executed. Canonical selected rows on page 8 show all three PASSED: testLiveProjectionGraceReapFailureDeliveredByCloseListener 11,344ms; testLiveProjectionGraceReapListenerFailureIsReportedAndRetried 10,969ms; testLiveProjectionGraceReapListenerFailureStress 13,737ms. Progress aggregate shows 3 PASSED + 1,890 excluded = 1,893 completed, zero failures/pending/running, inProgress=false and reconciliationPending=false. Every historical page was attempted; eight pages read, eleven returned HTTP 503. Selected-row success is confirmed; full filtered-row membership reconciliation is not claimed. This is saved-source proof, not a full-suite verdict for the later head.
- Later head d171 includes optional documented UrlProtocol2HostResourceLifecycle host decoration plus tests that count underlying host stop, force both creator/close cleanup orders, and require rejected prepared hosts to stop once, never start, and never become publicly visible. The linked later evidence reports each negative control FAIL 5/5 and corresponding restored PASS 5/5, with nine-selector focused results 45/45 on d171. Its prior full local suite ended INCOMPLETE at exit 124 after a 3,000-second process bound; pass/fail counts are null. No full local pass is claimed.
- Live PR is OPEN/MERGEABLE/BLOCKED, mergeQueueEntry=null, head d171. bld-build is SUCCESS. Required kotlin.build (remote) is IN_PROGRESS on 2a883f68; the informational kompile-remote-build check also remains IN_PROGRESS but does not gate. Watchman 0.0.21 confirms the required set and observes the existing gate under a 30-minute hard cap. No new run was dispatched.
- The current WUI is incomplete: progress summary reports 628 PASSED, 0 FAILED, 13 RUNNING, 1,252 PENDING of 1,893, while its sampled trajectory reports 639 completed/641 started. reconciliationPending=true and projectionIncomplete=true. Canonical results pagination returned repeated HTTP 503 cached-view rebuild errors. No executor failure or code failure is inferred from these read errors; a complete current-head verdict remains missing.
- Sweep worker w3 fresh-cloned, read repository guidance and required testing/philosophy/triage guidance, verified refs and old/current gates, and corrected the PR body to add the user's sweep motivation and historical selected-run success. The installed gh pr edit failed on retired projectCards; a structured REST PATCH succeeded. No product source changed, no build/test was launched, and no new source verification is claimed. Evidence is checkpointed below.
- Ecosystem friction is preserved in the evidence challenge record. The report-challenge CLI was not run because it auto-enqueues/merges, explicitly prohibited in this worker. No service repair or root cause is claimed.

This worker deployed, restarted, published, merged and queued nothing. Existing deployment/publication history is not re-investigated because this handoff's work has no such step; its previous recorded scope also made none.
Next steps
- Recheck live PR/head/queue and existing run. Do not re-dispatch while the current run is nonterminal, and do not infer a failed executor from WUI errors. The old selector gate and source/body update are already delivered.
- Obtain a complete required kotlin.build (remote) verdict for d171 from run 2a883f68. If shared infrastructure needs repair, route that to its existing owner; this worker must not restart, deploy, delete or rerequest. A named test failure needs local reliable reproduction before a fix.
- When required checks are green on the unchanged final head, finish the two required review passes (test comprehensiveness and adversarial source review), address real gaps, and report READY_TO_MERGE. The orchestrator makes the final merge decision. No extra verification batches after gates are met.
- Preserve this item or consolidate its remaining remote CI/review work into the existing broader UrlResolver infrastructure handoff before archiving it. No open PR close is recommended.
