Workstream: Agent-facing service template
Status: Planned · Component: Maximize developer productivity · Enable agentic swarms
Goal
Generalize MyLittleAgi into a reusable scaffold — a full Api / Embedded / ServiceServer / WUI / GUI stack plus an embedded MCP server — that an agent can instantiate to stand up a new agent-facing service in one step. The reference service becomes a repeatable factory: instead of hand-copying MyLittleAgi's structure, an agent generates a fresh, correctly-layered agent-facing service and starts filling in its domain logic.
Why it matters for swarms
This is where component 1 (make scaffolding a new service frictionless) and component 2 (hand that leverage to agents) meet: the fewer manual steps between "an agent needs a new service" and "the service exists and is deployable," the more of the build loop a swarm can run unattended. MyLittleAgi is the seed — the all-layers reference and product surface — and this workstream is the extraction of its repeatable shape into a scaffold others instantiate.
Relationship to MyLittleAgi
MyLittleAgi was originally framed narrowly as "the reusable template for agent-facing services." That framing has since sharpened: MyLittleAgi is the end-user console over a fleet of AiCliHostSupervisor instances (which are the durable home of the agent) — the consumer-facing surface for creating and conversing with agents — and the "copyable scaffold" idea lives on here as its own workstream. Whether the template ultimately ships as a capability of MyLittleAgi or as a standalone generator is the concrete question this workstream resolves as it is built out.
Graduation
This is early-stage and has no Documentation Repository project page. It remains a workstream until an agent can instantiate the scaffold and stand up a new, correctly-layered agent-facing service in one step, at which point it becomes a first-class project with a Documentation Repository project doc and an ALL_PROJECTS.md entry.
